Avisoft Organizer

Avisoft Organizer is a freeware that allows users to create a journal where they can document important happenings and day to day activities, set reminders and alarms for due dates, conferences, and other engagements. Other useful features are as follows: calendar, to-do list, directory, stopwatch and conversion feature for length, temperature, mass, velocity and others.

Day Organizer

Day Organizer is a packed free organizer software that allows users to create a calendar of events, set up reminders, and alerts especially when something is due. It's compatible with all current Windows versions and requires Microsoft.NET Framewrok 2.0 installed prior to downloading. Day Organizer's interface is offered in Slovak, French, English, Czech and Spanish with 2 planning calendar themes to choose from.

VORG Express

VORG Express lets users synchronize their existing Outlook 2003 and 2007 calendar of events, notes and contacts with VORG. Users may also upload pictures, music, or excel spreadsheets and attach them as notes to appointment schedules or events. VORG may be saved in a flash drive which is great for portability and may be independently used.


Organiser - Dolphinity created this freeware with freelancers and small businesses in mind. It allows for plotting of projects and tasks including deadlines, due date reminders, and lists of contacts, files and notes. It is ideal for projects with an estimated range of completion of 12 months or less.

Task List Guru

Task List Guru is simple and easy to use. Task List Guru allows users to record a list of things they need to do, even to reorganize them according to what is of utmost urgency, as well as create a task from their emails (Thunderbird, MS Outlook, Lotus Notes) just by dragging and dropping items on their list. It comes with a reminder alarm that prompts users when a task is due. Task List Guru is compatible with 32-bit and 64-bit MS Windows OS.


Chandler which has a nicely done interface, users can put color-coded indicators on tasks and meetings like "now", "later" and "done". They can also categorize these tasks however they wish to, even allowing them the option to "star" important items and filter these items accordingly. It also has the ability to let users merge their Thunderbird, Google and Apple calendars with their database on Chandler. Entries can be accessed on the web and can be synchronized with a number of different computers.


Lumina is both a time and organizer software in one. Lumina allows users to manage their projects and the clients they work for. Users can create to-do lists, monitor the time spent on each task, keep track of deadlines and expenses, and create reminders on a per project and/or per client basis.
